Who is
YEFL-Ghana?
Youth Empowerment for Life (YEFL-Ghana) is a vibrant, youth-led organization creating opportunities for young people to lead change in their communities and beyond. We believe in a future where young people are not just beneficiaries of development, but the drivers of it — shaping decisions, building livelihoods, and influencing policies.
What we do
At YEFL-Ghana, we empower young people to create jobs and business, demand accountability and influence governance, and drive positive change in their communities.
Our approach is simple but powerful: youth-led, practical, and inclusive. Whether through entrepreneurship hubs, youth parliaments, climate action brigades, or girls’ caucuses, YEFL-Ghana makes sure young people have the tools, spaces, and opportunities to lead.

Social Empowerment
Youth have enhanced capacity and platforms to engage in political processes, advocate for their rights, and hold duty bearers accountable through structured initiatives like Regional Youth Networks, Youth Parliaments and advocacy campaigns.
Political Empowerment
Youth-led networks are actively influencing local and national policies, with increased participation of young people, especially women and marginalized groups, in governance and community development processes.
Economic Empowerment
Young people, including women and persons with disabilities, have access to entrepreneurship training, financial resources, and mentorship, resulting in the establishment and sustainability of youth-led businesses and social enterprises.

At YEFL-Ghana, we believe lasting change happens when we work together. Over the years, we have partnered with national and international organizations, government institutions, private sector actors, and youth networks to scale impact and create opportunities for young people. We collaborate with organizations and academic institutions alongside local government agencies and community-based organizations.
Our partnerships are more of, building relationships and trust than funding. They are about co-creating solutions, sharing knowledge, and amplifying youth voices at every level, from rural communities to global platforms.
