Zakari Fathiaya,

Advocacy and Engagement Officer ,YEFL – Ghana

My skills were honed during my internship at YEFL-Ghana, the parent organization of NRYN. YEFL provided professional development through internships and volunteerism, embracing a "learning by doing" principle and a vision of "Youth Leading Change." During my internship, I developed concept notes, conducted field activities, created budgets, wrote reports, and built my personal brand. These experiences opened many opportunities for me, leading to my recommendation for the Advocacy and Engagement Officer role at YEFL-Ghana. I owe my success to YEFL's mission and vision.”

We cherish feedback from the young people we work with and for. These feedbacks solidify our learning by doing approach as a way to strengthen the capacity of young people in the corporate and development space.
